What is Empire Zoysia?
Empire Zoysia is a patented variety of Zoysia Japonica grass, developed for tough conditions. It has a fine-to-medium leaf (in the middle of the thickness of a Buffalo leaf and the fine leaf of a Couch), rich dark green colour, and a soft feel underfoot. Originally bred in Brazil, it’s now widely used across Australia for its durability and visual appeal.
Its deep root system and slower vertical growth mean less watering and less mowing, making it one of the most low-maintenance lawns available.
