At Rivers Edge Turf, we don’t just grow premium lawn. We deliver it, fresh from our farm and straight to your site. From small backyards to major landscaping projects, our delivery service is designed to make the process easy, timely, and stress-free.

If you’re unsure if your address is within our standard delivery range, give us a call on (02) 4579 9009. In many cases, we can arrange additional transport, especially for larger orders or sites just outside our usual zones. We do not offer international delivery at this time.
Minimum Order & Delivery Requirements
To ensure efficient delivery logistics, we require a minimum turf order of $500. This helps us keep delivery fees fair while guaranteeing fresh product quality.
Delivery Process:
- Place your order online or by phone
- Nominate your preferred delivery day during checkout
- We’ll call you to confirm all details before dispatch
- Turf arrives freshly harvested, usually early morning
We recommend choosing a delivery day when someone will be available to receive and begin laying the new turf immediately.
If you choose to pick up your order there is no minimum order spend. We recommend collecting your order on a Saturday – call us to discuss.
How Much Turf Do I Need?
Not sure how many square metres of turf your new lawn needs? To keep things simple, measure the length and width of the area you’d like to cover, then multiply them to get your total in square metres. If your lawn has curved edges or tricky spots, round up to make sure you don’t come up short.

Our experienced team handles turf installation for home lawns, schools, public spaces, sporting surfaces, commercial landscapes, and everything in between. Installation services are available throughout Sydney and surrounding areas.
Important Information About Turf Installation
Returns & Replacement Policy
We stand by the quality of our turf. Every roll is freshly harvested from our farm and delivered in top condition. However, due to the nature of living products, we do have clear limits around returns and replacements.
We do not offer refunds once turf has been delivered, as it begins to perish immediately without proper care.
We may offer a one-time replacement if:
- You notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- You’ve followed our recommended care guideline
- The turf has not been watered sufficiently or has been overwatered.
- Turf has not been watered after being mowed, especially in hot weather.
- The turf has been affected by lawn grubs, pests, or disease after delivery.
- The turf was installed in unsuitable conditions (e.g., excessive shade, poor drainage, heavy traffic areas), not appropriate for the selected turf variety.
- The turf has been left uninstalled or unattended for extended periods after delivery.
Reminder: It’s the customer’s responsibility to choose the right turf for their conditions. While we’re always happy to offer guidance, final selection should be based on your site’s specific needs.Turf is a living, perishable product, and its quality depends heavily on how it’s handled once it arrives.
To get the best results:
- Install your turf on the same day it’s delivered — especially during warmer weather (30°C and above)
- Begin watering immediately after laying
- Avoid leaving turf stacked, rolled, or sitting in the sun
